Tuesday may be government shutdown day on KITM, but Wednesday is quickly becoming Infrastructure There’s Still No Speaker Day.

Of course, so is every other day of the week. But it seems like the votes are happening on Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are the day we get to come back and laugh about what happened when Greg Dworkin comes around.

At least for now.

We can’t know exactly where this is going. But as the Republican nominees for Speaker get worse and worse, there’s less and less chance of actually ending up with someone even worse. Even if that’s only because we’re already scraping the bottom of the barrel.

You’ve gotta find your silver linings where you can, man.
