Speaking of Jan 6th Insurrectionists, "Bullhorn Lady" Gets 57 Months In Prison. [1]

You have to love what they call the “split screen” for the last couple of days with regards to the Jan 6th insurrection. One of the leaders of the insurrection gets 200 votes from his fellow House Republicans to become speaker of the House, while one of the foot soldiers is sentenced to 57 months in prison. Jim Jordan is still on an upward trajectory and has not faced any accountability for his actions before and on Jan 6th. Meanwhile, Rachel “Bullhorn Lady” Powell ends up in prison.

And who is Bullhorn Lady Powell?

A Pennsylvania mother of eight known as “Bullhorn Lady” since she was identified as a window-smasher and boastful obstructionist at the tip of the pro-Trump mob’s spear on Jan. 6, falsely believing her preferred candidate won the 2020 election, has been sentenced to serve several years in prison for numerous crimes. Rachel Marie Powell, now 43, was convicted months ago of all nine charges she faced following a May bench trial before Senior U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, a Ronald Reagan appointee. Those charges included interference with a law enforcement officer during civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, destruction of government property, and several standard Jan. 6 misdemeanors for breaching the Capitol.

Yeah. Mom of eight, and she decides to overthrow our democracy. Get ready for the deep dive into delusion, grievance, and remorselessness ladies and gentlemen.

Besides smashing a window, she had a bullhorn and was cheering on her fellow insurrectionists. Ronan Farrow interviewed Powell, and this is what she had to say:

“Listen, if somebody doesn’t help and direct people, then do more people die?” Powell asked. “That’s all I’m going to say about that. I can’t say anymore. I need to talk to an attorney.”

She was only trying to direct people to save lives. Violent people fighting with the cops and trying to break into the Capitol Building. No biggie.

Did I mention that she posted on social media a mask she was ordered to wear during the COVID-19 pandemic?

The Judge ordered her to wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID. This is what she did. Funny! /s.

So she was busy giving a big fuck you to the federal judge. Bullhorn Lady had to apologize to the judge, but she wasn’t done being an asshole. Nope.

She went on Steve Bannon’s podcast to complain she was the real victim here.

You can read the rest of the article about here assholery. The only thing she is sorry about is what effect this is having on her eight kids. She tried to use that to gain sympathy with the judge. It may have worked because the government asked for 8 years.

I’d have thrown the damn book at her.
