Expanding McHenry's powers shot down by RW extremists. Jordan calls for 3rd speaker vote Friday. [1]

Republicans reject expanding interim speaker’s power as House stagnates.

Washington Post reports that the proposition Jordan backed to expand McHenry’s authority is a no-go with the looney toon caucus.

So, Jordan is calling for a 3rd speaker vote tomorrow. The crazies are apparently determined to get one of their kindred spirits as speaker, whatever the cost. All he has to do is convince 17 of the 20+ goopers who voted against him today to change their minds. I doubt it will succeed, if it does we are truly fucked.
