I just finished watching the President's address to the nation tonight and it just made me that much more resolute to work as hard as I possibly can, with everything in me to help him and VP Harris get back in the White House in 2024.

This world is "waxing worse and worse" and Biden's experienced, steady, unwavering hand is indespensible for our country and for all of our allies all over the world.

Meanwhile Gym Jordan and 'nem can't do the most basic functions of governing and are congenitally unable to take yes for an answer (Dems helping them vote to give McHenry temporary powers to bring legislation to the floor, etc). Hopefully, the "moderates" will continue to deny Gym the gavel. (Although I still believe as I've said in previous comments in other diaries, whoever Repubs pick as Speaker, it's gonna be Democrats who will be repeaedly called upon to be the grown-ups and the real Patriots.).

So I'ma continue to pray for our country and for peace. In addition, in my faith tradition, we watch, fight, AND pray.
