Traitorous Tuberville [1]

It’s long past time to call a spade a spade, or in this case, a traitor a traitor.

Treason (18 US Code 2381): Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death…..

By blocking ALL nominations for positions within the US Military it is absolutely clear that he is aiding and abetting the enemies of the United States. Without these individuals in their proper positions the Chain of Command is broken. It’s been broken for over 2 years. This renders the military significantly hampered in operating under military order.

Command authority is the authority leaders have over soldiers by virtue of rank or assignment. This authority is conferred in a signed document provided by the next higher commanding officer. Many “next higher officers” don’t currently exist.

A commander is an officer who occupies a position of command pursuant to orders of appointment or by assumption of command. (For extensive reading on the subject, the Air Force guide is published here.)

With 300 positions in limbo, it’s not possible to provide the appropriate command orders. This flow from the top down is currently broken. The diminishes the ability of the military to operate efficiently, particularly in situations that require almost instant decisions and confirmation.

Tuberville is purposefully causing this damaging chaos. At this point there’s no argument that can absolve him of culpability for the damage he’s causing.

He has claimed that he has taken the high ground. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is long past time for the Senate to stand against this individual and remove him and punish him according to law.
