Teddy bear bulldozers are ready at the border with Gaza, where a 1000 of them have massed, it was reported. Each building that will be targeted (those with intel connecting it to terror tunnels or …) will be demolished after giving its inhabitants time to leave. This is more dangerous for the soldiers than aerial bombing but given the inhabitants inability and or refusal to leave, it became the next best way to expel the population intermixed with Hamas and other radical groups within Gaza.

I have heard (per polling data) that 1/3 of the Gazan “civilians” are militantly aligned with Hamas terrorists. I wonder how many children that make up half the population are under 12 or 13, the age by which many are enlisted and minds are made up. Video has circulated of younger Gazan children beating the child hostages, it was reported. Yet I realize the youth are all legally innocent.



The Lubavitcher Rebbe advised teaching the 7 Universal Laws to all people, including the Palestinians. He advised Israel to buy back any land won in war or needed for self-defense. Eminent domain is perhaps a concept that could solve the problems. But, they say, no countries will agree to allow them to relocate, such is the reputation of the inhabitants for aiding and abetting murder and terror. But I think it should be possible to find 1000 economically disadvantaged communities around the world to take in 2000 each of persons who have at least pledged to refrain from terror — for a price. Develop the infrastructure and educational resources in these areas and then fund businesses. They could be monitored for radicalism, as many here in the USA are, rightly or wrongly.



On the one hand, I have heard some say there are more neutral and or peace-loving of the Gazans than 2/3. On the other, often their supporters here praise and justify Hamas terror. Sometimes those remarks leave me wondering if 1/3 is too low a percentage. Maybe the percentages are reversed. Whatever. Even 2/3 of a putatively extant peace loving population has not been able to control the bad 1/3 who are as ruthless to their fellows as they are to the Jews. Perhaps another column will be devoted to their self-terrorizing stories.
