MAGA and Trump are Attempting a Coup in the House of Representatives [1]

MAGA is Attempting Yet Another Coup, but this Time in the House

Jim Jordan’s candidacy is nothing other than an attempt by the MAGA minority members of the House of Representatives to stage a dangerous coup. The minority Matt Gaetz MAGA 8 deposed McCarthy from the Speakership, who the overwhelming majority of the House voted for, and then also overthrew the majority who voted for Steve Scalise in favor of Trump MAGA lackey Jim Jordan. The majority publicly and privately do not support Jim Jordan. MAGA is attempting to bully and terrorize their way into the Speaker position and they are using the MAGA media, Sean Hannity, and Steve Bannon to launch a pressure campaign. The consequences are dangerous for us all.

Jim Jordan Will Block Aid to Ukraine and Embolden Russia

Electing Jim Jordan to the Speakership will allow the MAGA minority to block aid to Ukraine. The overwhelming majority in the House support aid for Ukraine. The lack of support will likely cause the collapse of the Ukrainian defenses. Ukraine is in America’s strategic interests. Not only is it a democracy, it is the bread basket of Europe. Europe gets a large share of its food from Ukraine. We also get oil from Ukraine and Ukraine is strategic because it allows us access to the Black Sea and it is an important trade route for the West to Asia. We cannot allow Putin to have control of the food for Europe, more oil reserves, our access to the Black Sea, and one of the West’s trade routes to Asia.

This is an Attempt to Set Up Trump’s Steal of the 2024 Election

Jim Jordan continues to argue that the 2020 election was stolen and voted against certifying the election for Biden. Jordan continues to be completely loyal to Trump. A Joint Session of Congress certifies the election results. If Jim Jordan is Speaker of the House, he could refuse the certify the election in 2024 and send our country into chaos. Jim Jordan is a bully, oppositional, aggressive, loyal to Trump, and lacks a moral compass.

The MAGA Coup is Emboldening our Adversaries

Russia, China, and Iran are using the MAGA chaos in the House to show that Democracy is broken. They are applauding this because MAGA is again forcing us to fight ourselves instead of focusing on our adversaries. MAGA is blocking aid to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel and allowing our adversaries to make moves around the world. Putin’s mercenaries, the Wagner Group, have been overthrowing our allies in Africa. This in large part was able to occur because MAGA members of Congress have blocked Biden’s essential diplomatic appointments and the offices have sat empty. MAGA has been a true gift to Russia. They have enabled the overthrow of our allies in Africa and blocked financial support to our other allies. They have made Democracy look weak and ineffectual and made America weak.

We Cannot Allow a MAGA Coup in the House

Please send your support to the members of the House who refuse to support Jim Jordan. Matt Gaetz and his MAGA minority are fundraising off of this. We need to:

call with support,

email, and

send financial support

to the 22 members of the House who oppose his candidacy. They are enduring threats and being strong-armed to cave to the MAGA coup.
