I have a variety of trees and my favorite pie apple is ripe right now. I had a visit from the dahlia fairy from Alsea today, jqjacobs brought a bunch of starts and some sunflower seeds I’ll share with my gardening buddy. Let’s take a walk around the yard still a a few roses this area needs re-thought, grass is not good. Maybe a low ground cover golden delicious 18” zinnias have been fun this year 3’ have been good too things are shutting down shi shi gharzia deadheading without a band apple, celery, walnut salad, golden delicious My gardening buddy Patty asked if she could use a few of my flowers a few years ago. She was taking bouquets to a few retirement homes. She said she would deadhead to “pay” for the flowers. I told her she could have them for free. In the past few years she has been supplying flowers for her son’s restaurants. Here’s what she is doing. I walk around the yard with her when she comes over and we gossip. I went to my PA and told him I was getting depressed from the chronic pain. He said, we have a pill for that. Two days in and noticing some relief.
