The news show reported it thus: On the tapes, Anthony Pratt admires Trump’s ruthlessness while savaging his ethics. [Recording of Pratt] “He knows exactly what to say and what not to say so that he avoids jail, but gets so close to it that it looks to everyone like he’s breaking the law. Like he won't go up to someone and say ‘I want you to kill someone.’ He'll say, he'll send someone, to tell someone, to kill someone." Pratt has bought into the legend of the man. However, he might just as well have been describing John Gotti. And look what happened to that supposed “Teflon Don.” (Fingers crossed). Anthony Pratt is a collector of contacts. In 2017, he aimed for the biggest prize, the American President. He got lucky. The new incumbent was an undiscriminating harlot, easily bought with cash and flattery. Pratt paid the $200,000 membership fee to join Mar-a-Lago. It was chump change for Australia’s third wealthiest citizen, the cardboard king, who Forbes estimates is worth $11.1 billion. And his return on investment was spectacular. As ABC News reported two weeks ago, Trump, a man with a bottomless need to prove he is not just a birth lottery winner from one of New York’s Outer Boroughs, was soon whispering state secrets into Antipodean ears. He shared the details of America’s submarine capabilities over burnt steak and chocolate cake. A limited thinker, it never occurred to Trump — or more likely, he did not care — that his listener was as big a blabber-mouth as he. Pratt told 45 others. And who knows who they shared the state secrets with with. The damage was potentially profound. Thousands of US submariners are now at greater risk than they were — by how much we do not know. 60 Minutes Australia continued: Trump has long been a show-off but, if Pratt is to be believed, he often took things too far when it came to his wife, Melania. [Recording of Pratt] "Melania, who was sitting next to him at dinner, he said, ‘I asked Melania to walk around the pool in her bikini, so all the other guys could get a look at what they were missing’.” The reporter then asked The Sydney Morning Herald’s politics and international editor, Peter Hartcher, what he thought of this sexist disparagement. He replied: Hartcher: “It certainly confirms for us and reminds us that Donald Trump is quite happy to demean his own wife in front of other people. And is that the character you really want in your next president.” Reporter: “Do you think the release of this tape is in the public interest?” Hartcher: “Absolutely” Reporter: “Why?” Hartcher: "Because it's in the public interest to know what the former US President, potential next US President, once again, how he conducts himself. His relationships with business people. His relationship with a particular Australian business person. Later, the reporter asks how these tapes may play in the upcoming election. Hartcher replies: "It's simply more ammunition against a man known to be reckless, and shows him once again — and remember Donald Trump has denied any recklessness with national security — and yet here we have again, a clear-cut example where he is reckless with foreign intelligence, foreign leaders, military operations, to a foreign citizen, in exchange for money." The MAGAs will never believe Trump has done anything wrong. Liberals already know the truth. But maybe there are some in the middle for whom these recordings or the next revelation will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton thinks so. He offered this during the segment: “I'm not sure it's fair to criticize Mr. Pratt for taking advantage of the opportunity Trump presented. But it's a pretty sad commentary that Trump presented the opportunity. And it's this kind of behavior that one by one by one — maybe it's like water eroding a rock — but we will get to a point where people do understand that he's not fit to be president.” Trump is a serial bankrupt. He ran a fraudulent charity. He had to pay $25 million restitution to victims of his scam university. He is four times criminally indicted. He faces multi-million dollar fines in a business fraud case in which the Judge has already deemed him a con artist. And a court has found him culpable of rape and defamation. A sane person already has enough. And the cultists will never face the truth. God save America.
