Good day and welcome to DKos Asheville Open Thread

This space appears each weekend to give readers an opportunity to share links to Asheville and Western North Carolina news and opinion. The floor is open for comment and discussion. Wishing all a good day from this beautiful part of the world.

Author’s note: Gentle readers, I have an Impossibly full plate this fall and have decided to put the diary series into a revised format through the end of the year.

The weekly DKos Asheville and North Carolina open threads will still be available for sharing news and opinion, I just won’t be contributing with my own collection of stories to get the conversation started.
