More Russia stuff blowing up: Situation on left bank of the Dnipro still unclear [1]

The numbers of Russian losses at Avdiivka are just staggering.

There are a lot of posts today claiming that Russia is now using vintage vehicles to transport troops near Avdiivka. These are said to be Polutorka lorries -- Soviet trucks modeled after the Ford Model AA truck and made in the 1930s.

This is an update on the situation pin the left bank of the Dnipro and reports that Ukraine was operating in the Oleshky Sands region.

During the day, the AFU began a larger ("than normal") offensive operation on the left-bank. Part of their focus was to capture the villages of #Pishchanivka and #Pidstepne. I believe the photo was taken somewhere between #Poima and Pishchanivka (image 3) which is very sandy and has more vegetation than the area in the park. Unfortunately, it is likely AFU forces had to pull back to Poima and the railroad embankment after coming under heavy artillery fire. Of note, the Kraken Regiment of GUR Spetsnaz has entered the battle in this sector. To the east, near #Krynky, the AFU is doing much better and has managed to develop a foothold there (image 4).

x FYI: Yesterday, Russia launched at least 36 FAB-500/1500 guided glide bombs at targets on both sides of the Dnipro in #Kherson. That is a record and is an indication of the high level of Russian concern regarding AFU activity there.

Life is truly cheap in the Russian Army.

One of the victims of this attack was an investigator of war crimes. The video shows blood on the street.
