Trump’s lawyers filed a motion in the Jan 6 trial that Trump “lacked fair notice that his advocacy (of insurrection) in this instance could be criminalized.” And that failing proper notice the charges against him should be “dismissed un the due process clause...” www.cnn.com/…

If only we had lawyers watching over our every move to warn us when we were about to violate the constitution and innumerable state and local laws. But the case with Trump is that he did have lawyers at hand, and they did warn him on multiple occasions.
