Another day, another mass shooting [1]

I've probably seen at least 15 wishes of thoughts and prayers this morning about the latest mass shooting - the one that took place in Maine.

I am all in favor of those "thoughts and prayers".

BUT seeing how they do not actually appear to prevent these horrors I think it might be about time to try some different approaches.

Please don't give the tired trope of "Now is not the time". That is crap. When will it be time? After we stop Global Warming, put Single Payer in place? [Note: The last article I read on the bankruptcies directly resulting from the Las Vegas shooting claimed there were over 200, all due to medical expenses. Try to think this through: Who pays for repair to those living victims? It ain’t some magical Doctor Fairy that flies in].

Seeing how we have seen no changes since Sandy Hook perhaps the public should see actual images of the carnage. That might put power behind both the "thoughts and prayers" and the will to actually start taking steps.

And I would think that the family members off those slain would be supportive of making images public if it were done to actually put a stop to these.

In the meantime we should all be screaming out for implementing the "well regulated" part of the amendment back into practice and law.
