IAN: October 27, 2023: Four more days to Halloween [1]

Happy Friday! Halloween is getting closer and closer. I have some fun and spooky videos for you this week. Grocery shopping is on Sunday this week. Bit was also off Thursday, but my Thursday was packed between woundcare, an exercise class and a nutrition class. I’ve only had two seizures this month so far (knock on wood), and I’ve been having some better, more productive days since I started these classes. I’m hoping that trend continues. I have too many chronic conditions to ever ‘get better’, but if I can become more functional in daily life, I’ll take it. I know I’ll still have bad days, and still have days when I don’t get a lot done, and I’ll still have to watch and pace myself so I don’t send myself tumbling backwards. But if I can get a couple of things accomplished every week around the house, that would be an improvement.

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
