I/P: I Pray That I Am Wrong: I Don't Believe I Am Alone In Europe Having This Nightmare. [1]

I pray not that I believe in anything, however, I was raised Lutheran and that is a habit I haven’t quite lost.

Morning Prayer I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I pray that you would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into your hands I commend myself, my body and soul and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.

I regard it the same way I regard any meditative prayer/mantra even though Buddhism has no qualms/restrictions with you having another faith as well.

I think someone else is having the same dream:

A massive intervention that would put civilian lives at risk would be an error and it would also be a mistake for Israel because it would be unlikely to offer long-term protection and because it is incompatible with protecting the civilian population or respecting international humanitarian law and the rules of war. French President Emmanuel Macron in Egypt on his recent tour.

My Nightmare

The IDF splits Gaza in two at the start of the ground war and then turns south and drives the surviving Palestinians into the Sinai, I doubt the Egyptians will gun them down.

The Middle East explodes and hence the US gets directly militarily involved. I don’t see Europe going along with this scenario.

I will not be a party to yet another Middle Eastern War and/or Crime against Humanity in my name.
