Although by no means a politics expert, I don't really need to grasp nuance or subtleties in these days when the stark case is so plainly fascism vs. democracy, extremism vs. freedom, domestic terrorism vs. domestic repair/unity.

At various points experts come out of the woodwork to join the swarm of talking heads. But action is magic. Fascists will try to wear down resistance, erode will, damage spirit. Many more just follow and simply "kick the can." Many appear to be foot soldiers of a would-be Oligarchy trying to mutate America. "Power concedes nothing without a demand", Frederick Douglas said. And Fascists use staus quo as a trench from which to seize more ground. My little gear spins for democracy. Does yours? Action is magic.
