[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-10-29 Alright! Here we go again! Ha! Here is the list of songs I looked at to choose songs for the diary: en.wikipedia.org/… Santana, featuring Chad Kroeger, at number 98: Great! In case you did not notice, Santana worked with a few other bands around this time, in the early two thousands. That brought back into the spotlight his great skills, his great sound, that first became popular in the late sixties and early seventies. For this song, he worked with the lead singer of Nickelback, to combine two popular signature sounds. I like it. Saving Abel, at number 97: Basic hard rock. I like it. Daughtry, at number 95: Okay, for most of these music diaries, I post about ten songs, maybe more than ten, but less than 15. If I cannot get out of the songs listed in the bottom ten for the year, how is that going to work out this week? We will see. It is not my fault that the songs are so great! Ha! Gavin Rossdale, at number 94: Okay, at this rate, I will quit somewhere around number 80, and let you, my commentators, fill in the rest of the most popular hits! Ha! Miley Cyrus, at number 92: Okay, when she was listing the 7 things she hates about him, I was going to skip it. Then she listed the 7 things she loves about him. Oh well. Happy ending! Mary J. Blige, at number 82: Interesting point: My reason for posting these diaries was to find old friends, songs that felt very familiar, from hearing them a lot. So, far, none of the songs I have posted are like that. I do not recall any of them. However: They are so great! I cannot leave them out. John Mayer, at number 60: That was the song for the movie, “Bucket List.” Scenes from the movie, in the video, made me cry. Posting these videos, that is something on my bucket list. I am only 68, and very healthy, but that is the time to do those things, rather than waiting until it’s too late. 3 Doors Down, at number 52: Too much acrobatics in the video, but the whole thing is fun. Especially the will to live expressed in the lyrics. Not my time to go. Buckcherry, at number 44: Very moody, very powerful. Katy Perry, at number 36: Finally! A song I know! Tonia had me watching all the hits by Katy Perry, so I will be posting all those. Tonia was showing me Katy Perry music in 2020 and in 2021, less than a year before she died, in 2022. Pink, at number 24: She’s gonna start a fight! Ha! Flo Rida, featuring T-Pain, at number 1: Okay, I left plenty of songs for you to choose from, near the top of the chart. I just left them there for you to do the work of posting them. Ha! Here is the link to the list again: en.wikipedia.org/… Hugs!
