hi venthoolipals, how was your weekend?

The weather here has been gorgeous and I got out a bit. Saturday I had fun with my friend Marcia who lives in Santa Cruz. We met halfway between us in Half Moon Bay and hopped around the San Mateo County coast, took walks a couple of places. In between we had coffee at the little airport there, then walked up to get a closer look at the giant golf ball that's always a landmark for hikes around there (a telemetry station whatever that is).

On the way home I heard a bunch of lovely creepy songs on KALW.

I took a vacation day today and rode the ferry to Sausalito and back to SF with my friend Pat. A sparkling day. The pic up top is Alcatraz.

Did you see the Talking Heads on Colbert the other night? He just blabbed away on them and did most of the talking himself, asked them a bunch of questions that he didn't let them answer.
