[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-10-30 I’m predicting at least 45,000 Palestinian deaths in the ongoing attempt to liquidate Hamas from Gaza. Probably almost 1,000 of those will be in the collateral escalation of squatter attacks upon the indigenous population in the West Bank, which an Israeli Government spokeswoman referred to Monday morning on MSNBC as Judea and Sumeria. She was unchallenged by the MSNBC folks, who may not have understood some of the implications of her having identified the West Bank thusly. I believe the superstitious new Speaker of the US House uses the same terms for that physical space. Of the 44,000 deaths in Gaza, I predict over a third of them will be kids who weren’t even born yet when Hamas took over there from the PLO in 2006. There are probably already close to 4,000 dead kids from the bombings. I understand that beginning in March, 1943, in the bombing of Hamburg, the RAF and US Army Air Corps incinerated more civilians than that over a 36-hour period. And it just accelerated to many 10,000-plus death raids or multi-day campaigns from our bombings in Germany and Japan. We are presently committed to putting a significant part of the sharp edge of the U.S. military stick to possibly throw their lives on the line to support an increasingly apartheid regime, because that regime is even more off the rails than our country’s second largest political entity. The so-called “Peace Process” was dead before it was enacted. Neither side was sincere, and the dynamics of power differential between the Israeli government and the PLO got me to shake my head from the beginning. Einstein turned down the job offer to be President of Israel. He cited his inexperience in politics and government, but the reality was that he was uncomfortable with the relationship between Israeli Jews, Christians and Muslims, which had become obvious to most close observers during and after the Nabka. I don’t believe the IDF is capable of eliminating Hamas in Gaza without inflicting even far more civilian deaths and even more horrific injuries in Gaza than I predicted above. Actually, I don’t believe the Israelis have yet formulated where this goes. How about you?
