Kitchen Table Kibitzing ~ 10.30.23 [1]

October is my birthday month; I celebrate every day. This year I celebrated by eating whatever I wanted, and drinking diet coke every day. I’ve also been taking my friends out to lunch. I’ve been to 4 restaurants on lakes or rivers.

That’s been fun and funny. There was one place that 5 of my friends met me and I was texting with one on the way. He is a multi-millionaire, and everyone always expects him to pick up the tab and he does. I texted that I was paying and was not going to argue.

I get there and we order. I got these things called “bobbers” (Oh, that might be a fishing reference, eh?) Bacon, shrimp, cheese and grits, rolled up and deep fried. Very fun. I got a shrimp po boy and some kind of cake with layers of chocolate and ice cream.

Everyone else got baked potatoes. Baked fucking potatoes! OMG that was funny. They swear they didn’t collude, but I gotta wonder.

Tomorrow is the last day of my grand birthday celebration. After that I’m probably going to fast for a few days, I’m pretty sick of eating!
