Then, on the rest of the menu, boys graduate from high school at lower rates than girls, with lifelong repercussions; most of the voters in Mississippi will have no choice about who represents them in the Legislature; and, California’s commercial Dungeness crab season is delayed for the sixth year in a row to protect humpback whales.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Israel is reassessing its diplomatic relations with Turkey due to Erdogan’s ‘increasingly harsh’ remarks; and, reminiscent of the beginning of the 1905 Odessa Pogrom, a mob of almost a thousand people shouting antisemitic slogans, stormed a Russian airport looking for ‘genocidal Jews’ arriving from Tel Aviv.
