Convicted Insurrectionist Starts Brawl In Court When He Is Ordered To Jail Before Sentencing. [1]

Jan. 6 defendant brawls in court after being ordered to jail ahead of sentencing for assault, obstruction convictions

Nice guy.

A Florida man convicted of assaulting police at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 got physical with law enforcement — again — when he learned that a federal judge decided to send him to jail ahead of sentencing for sending threatening messages to law enforcement. Vitali GossJankowski, 34, was convicted in March of assault, obstructing an official proceeding, and obstructing, impeding, or interfering with law enforcement during a civil disorder. As Law&Crime previously reported, he was seen “activating” a Taser multiple times while in the crowd, and prosecutors say he may have tried to use it on Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone.

So he is a convicted thug who attacks cops. But it gets better with GossJankowski.

In recent weeks, prosecutors say, GossJankowski’s conduct “has escalated significantly.” While he previously had used his social media to “track and publicly harass members of law enforcement and the FBI’s Washington Field Office,” GossJankowski has now “sent intimidating, direct messages to a specific law enforcement officer who previously testified in this case.” GossJankowski’s previous social media posts included “photographs of locations, vehicles, and individuals associated with the FBI, usually with the defendant’s statements overlayed.” According to a motion filed on Oct. 17, however, the defendant sent text messages that included racist, antisemitic, and harassing language directly to a law enforcement officer involved in the case.

GossJankowski is a racist and hates Jews. And he likes to dox federal agents. He’s a winner for sure.

Unfortunately, GossJankowski has this little phobia about jail:

Judge Paul Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ordered GossJankowski jailed for a series of recent doxxing threats targeting federal agents. Moments later, GossJankowski stood and fought with agents who tried to handcuff him and take him into custody. GossJankowski, who appears to stand at least 6 feet, 3 inches tall and is exceptionally muscular, pushed, tugged and toppled the officers before careening into a nearby podium and tables.

This all occured as soon as GossJankowski’s ASL interpreter signed that his ass was going to jail. Yes, GossJankowski is deaf, and when the feds tried to handcuff, the fists went flying. It took up to SIX federal agents to subdue GossJankowski, but he still managed to drag them all to the court room door first.

Keep in mind that this is all before GossJankowski’s final sentence. Hopefully, the judge will take into account the brawl he got to witness when sentencing this thug. As we all know, most of the sentences for even violent offenders have usually been on the low end of the federal sentencing guidelines. Supposedly, GossJankowski already faced decades in prison.
