DK L.A., Time to Break Bread Together Again -12/09 [1]

I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday. I have much to be grateful for although I am not situated in the lap of luxury...luxury is not necessary for a full and rich life. Friends of like mind absolutely are a requirement for the good life that I enjoy during the last most hospitable days on earth. Some of my friends are YOU, L.A. Kossacks! Let’s get together again!

susans, gmats and myself have determined that it would be grand to collect once more at Saladang Garden in Pasadena on Saturday the 9th of December at 1:00 p.m. We met there years ago when we were graced with the company of Neeta and Meteor Blades. This restaurant has the advantage of a large seating space indoors or out. Our preference would be outside but if the weather is not agreeable, we can move to the lofty indoor space. Covid is not dead and we are all more mindful of open air advantages. The restaurant is in the 300 block of South Fair Oaks Avenue a few easy blocks from the Del Mar Metro Station. It is freeway close, too, (110, 134, 210) with a reasonable amount of free parking.

It’s therapeutic in these loony days of MAGA mayhem just to vent with kindred others. We’re always keen to hear about ACTIONS that we might be a part of and so on. Honestly, it’s an invigorating thing to have visceral experience with the reality that most of the voting public isn’t nuts — let’s validate and reaffirm this for one another. As always, you are encouraged to bring others to introduce to the community.

Maybe we can have a pool to guess which of the pending 91 charges will sink a certain malevolent force. Wait a minute; I haven’t a clue about pools! Gosh, what can we do now? : < ) If you have never been to one of these meets, please, make this your first. Even if you are the silent type or shy, you will be made welcome, I assure you.
