Ukraine Invasion Day 644: More Putin rationalizations for the war [1]

Ukraine and the Baltic States have announced a boycott of the OSCE meeting - Lavrov will be present there. Before that, Bulgaria stated that it would temporarily open the airspace for the plane with Lavrov on board.

"The Ukrainian delegation will not participate in the meeting of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said."In fact, today Europe needs security from and against Russia, rather than together with it," Foreign Ministers of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia stated.

Earlier, North Macedonia said it was ready to receive a delegation from Russia led by Lavrov.

The OSCE ministerial meeting, which includes 57 countries, is to be held in Skopje from November 30 to December 1.

If Lavrov does visit Skopje, it will be the first visit of a Russian minister to a European country, a NATO member, since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.

Now the very existence of the OSCE, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the fact that Russia, an aggressor state, can block any decision proves once again that the entire system of international law is broken. It does not work. Russia has already destroyed international law.

If the Russian foreign minister is at the same table with other EU ministers, it will show that Russia is not in international isolation and it will be seen as a diplomatic victory for Russia.
