Musk now owns arguably one of the largest data sources of digital human interaction in the world. He is using it in part to train his version of AI, Grok:

Musk, who has owned X — formerly known as Twitter — for a year, announced late Saturday that Grok is being trained by having “real-time access” to information from the platform.

When Musk took over twitter, some of the earliest changes he made were to reduce the number of bots.

I believe the reason Musk is now telling X’s advertisers to “go fu** yourself” is that he doesn’t see X as a communications platform. He likely sees it primarily as a data source for his AI.

Its likely nobody had Musk’s AI in mind when they created their twitter accounts and community networks on twitter.

Since Musk took over, he re-platformed bigots, some of which now post unrestrained hate daily.

If you disagree with what Musk is doing; if you don’t want your history being a part of someone else’s AI,

when you leave X/Twitter, delete your account.
