Latest GA Republican Scheme to Kill the RICO Case [1]

On the Steve Bannon show, State Senator Carlton Moore detailed the latest plan to derail the GA RICO case. The plan is to modify the RICO law to require there be a financial benefit in order for there to be charges. It can be modified retroactively and only needs a majority for it to become law, which translates into 29 of the 33 Republican Senators voting for it. Since none of the existing charges have a financial component, the case would no longer be valid. This would leave Fani Willis starting over and filing charges under other statutes. Witnesses with plea deals might be off the hook, the nature of the charges may change drastically, current defendants may no longer be chargeable, etc. Republicans really are pulling out all the stops trying to take over this country. www.msn.com/...
