Hell in a Handbasket [1]

It has been a long time since I have been able to write. I haven't had access to anything other then a 12 year old cell phone. I'll see if this tablet will work.

Last year my brother Reid died. I had been his caregiver for over twelve years. He had been in the hospital for pneumonia when I got a call as I was getting ready to go see him. He was dying. He recognized me and I was the last thing he saw before he died eight hours later with me holding his hand.

With his death my income was at below poverty level. The new manager is a hard nose woman everyone hates. She offered me a new lease for an apartment I had lived in for twelve years at double what we had been paying and more than I make from social security in a month.

I now live with my cat Pixie in a studio apartment with no heat, an old air conditioner that sounds like a 747 taking off blowing on the floor and roaches on the second floor. I am now 75 with severe arthritis and need a cane. I haven't been able to afford my car for a couple of years. The handyman wants to buy the car but the manager won't give him the time off to take me to the DMV. I have to pay for two storage sheds.

I'm running out of power so I need to end this. I need help right now. I don't get SNAP until the 19th. It doesn't pay for household expenses. If I could get at least $200.00 to get me by so I can get some food and litter for Pixie. I have PayPal at michelewilson327 @ gmail .com. Thank you.
