President of University of Pennsylvania Resigns [1]

One of the three university presidents that gave testimony at congress last week has resigned. NYT past the paywall

When queried by a Republican congresswoman (and Harvard alum) if students should receive any sort of discipline for calling for the death of Jews, she and two other presidents gave evasive answers. The questioner thought that they would answer “yes” as it was kind of an easy one. The questioner didn’t get to ask the follow up question and so repeated the ask three times to each of the presidents.

I guess if anyone ever asks you if people should be punished for calling for a people’s death based on ethnicity, race, religion etc, the safe answer is yes. You could even say :”hell ya, we don’t like racists calling for people to be killed, I’ll see they stay after school and write “I won’t be a racist” a hundred times”

A month or so ago I saw a vid, I think it was from a university in WA, typical protest from the river to the sea etc, and this young woman, she looked like barely old enough to go to University, and she’s crying while telling the guy in charge of DEI at the institution “they say they want to kill me”. He’s just nodding his head like he hears her but thinks it best not to offer an opinion.

At first I felt sorry for the woman, but then I thought to myself that dean is for sure pulling in six figures, maybe even two or three six figures, and he can’t comfort a young woman who is hearing a crowd shout for her death based on her race. Tuition is expensive, I know I’m paying two of them.

Somehow part of our population has gone off the rails. Bear in mind, I’m not Jewish, I’m not even Christian, none of that son of Abraham stuff. I do believe though if my son shaves his head, goes barefoot, and spends a month at the temple not eating after lunch there’s a good chance I won’t come back as a worm crawling out the hind end of a soi dog.
