Republicans hate Zelenskyy because his very presence makes them face their cowardice. [1]

Republicans are about to start a phony impeachment hearing. Years ago Donald Trump was impeached for trying to get Ukraine and Zelenskyy to open fake investigations into Hunter Biden and Burisma. Trump later demanded numerous investigations into everyone but his own people, “Investigate the investigators” etc. We see these patterns clear as day, anyone who has been following the news. Accusations of being corruption are met with attacks and counter claims of corruption, claims of coup attempts are followed by accusations of deep state influence, “I know you are but what am I?”

It’s getting a little 3rd grade playground taunting out there. Everyone knows it.

But for whatever reason Republicans have to go along with it otherwise they might get cooties!

How embarrassing for them.

To defend a rapist, fraudster, liar, cheat, mentally deranged, child and follow his every whim and command. To have to join him in lying cheating stealing oppressing and demeaning women to stay in his worthless grace, what a nightmare.

Then along comes Zelenskyy who really does not have time for bullshit because he is managing a real life war. Crisis after crisis in a battle for survival. He is the anti-thesis of the clown car, the elementary school playground. He’s an adult trying to get real shit done that matters in world history. He doesn’t ask to fight the clown car, he doesn’t have time, he doesn’t care, he’s got real needs because lives are on the line. He’s fighting tyranny, the right for democracies to exist, recognition of human rights… Republicans are asking him to look at the flower on their suit and spray him with water when he does…

No wonder they didn’t want to meet him, are upset by his very existence. How much more demeaning could it get than to have such a man, a free man, standing in the same room as you when you can’t even go to the bathroom without asking Trump if it’s ok. They will never help him now. Not because as a nation we should not support Ukraine, but because he reminds them of how far they have fallen, and just how empty their souls have become. He makes them look in the mirror, and they can no longer stand the sight. Their inner rage at themselves will be focused on him, and many people will die, so they don’t have to face that rage themselves.
