Today has been the rare day where the news has made an otherwise awful day bearable.

I had about an hour of sleep last night and then went looking for my wallet only to find out that it was missing and probably lost.

I have been stressed out about a few IRL so that the reason for my lack of sleep and the loss of my wallet may be the same thing. So after making a few online purchases (to be shipped) I shut the card off, I’ll be getting a new one by late next week, and...that’s that.

I actually started stress eating things that a diabetic shouldn't and that’s what made me take the pause I needed. Last thing I need is another trip to the hospital.

Still worried about things until the news that Rudy Giuliani has to pay $148 million in damages to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss came down and suddenly, I felt as if I were tap dancing all through the White House. I mean, to an extent, it is about the money and I would like for Rudy to pay out every dime for defamation and causing Miss Ruby, daughter, and grandson to quite literally fear for their lives. I understand that Freeman and Moss might only see very little of that payout but...as long as Rudy goes broke and stays broke for the rest of his life.

It is the principle of the thing, as well.

The I looked into my mailbox and found a gift card in the mail, so I will be able to make a few purchases as I wait to my new debit card.

So...I’m not exactly smiling now but things are OK, at the moment. It’s been a rough day but I’ve got through it with minimum drama, considering everything that’s gone on.

And now...I need to get some sleep.
