During the summer tourist season there are docents and re-enactors. I always like museums like this since they show how ordinary people lived their lives in the past. Some photos. HC Smith Grocery Store, built in 1915 Inside the store At the rear of the building was the Village Garage Sulphur Springs Railroad Depot McMullen Coachman cabin, built in 1852 Inside the cabin Harris School, built in 1912. A small rural school located outside of town. Safety Harbor Church, built in 1905 Inside the church Gulf of Mexico Sponge Company warehouse, built in 1930. Sponge diving was big business in the towns north of St Pete.
