Boebert Tries to change Districts [1]

Lauren Boebert is a chicken. She has just announced that she will run for Congress next year in the district being vacated by Ken Buck. She currently represents the district which is most of Colorado west of the continental divide and Pueblo County. She won last year by 546 votes and the same Democrat is running against her and handily out fund-raising her. She will now try to take the other rural district in Colorado, most of Colorado to the east of the front range and some of the exurbs of Denver. Easy republican district. This kind of things have happened before and have not worked out so well for the people who tried it. I was personally involved in one where a previous congressman Ken Kramer (R) ran in a new district against an incumbent. The incumbent (R) Joel Hefley won handily. Mind you this was the late 1980’s. But Coloradoans are notorious for believing in “fair-play” and that’s not this. Hopes she gets her ass kicked.
