More Russian stuff blowing up: Russian cities of Belgorod, Bryansk come under fire [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-12-30 There were attacks overnight in the Russian cities of Bryansk and Belgorod, but what exactly happened remains something of a mystery. In Bryansk, Ukraine appears to have hit one of Russia’s largest microelectronics plant with a drone, though Ukraine hasn’t commented yet. In Belgorod things are a bit murkier. x 30 December: drone falls on roof of Kremniy El, one of Russia's largest microelectronics plants, in Bryansk (🎥 ASTRA) It creates products for missile systems & fighter jet avionics; previous successful 🇺🇦 attack was on 8 Sept. Do your rehab back at the front. Relatives of a Russian military man claim that near Vyborg the military police tried to return a wounded mobilized man to the North Military District zone. The man could not move on his own, so they took him by the arms and literally dragged him into the train. According to family members, the video shows the railway station in the village of Kamenka, where military unit 29310 is located. They told the media that military police arrived there this morning and began selecting people to be sent to the warzone in Ukraine. According to them, one of these men turned out to be a military man who, after being wounded and hospitalized, was awaiting the commission’s conclusion on whether he was fit for further service. The mobilized man was seriously wounded in the leg, was recovering from a fracture and could not move normally. Family members say that despite this, military police officers took him to the station, grabbed him by the arms and dragged him onto a train heading back to the warzone. At the same time, they threatened him with the use of special means and physical force. Other soldiers began filming what was happening, and according to them, the man was ultimately not put on the train. However, the military unit has not seen him since then either: “Either they sent him away on the sly or closed him somewhere,” says one of the employees. x Leningrad Oblast, Russia ❗ Another day, another story... The embed below of his message is from Instagram. Against the backdrop of the city’s famed Lviv Opera House, Vakarchuk addressed Ukrainians, highlighting the nation's resilience in the face of adversity. "Today in Lviv, much like in countless other cities, towns, and villages across Ukraine, the echoes of chaos and destruction reverberated again. The Russian enemy persists in inflicting pain and havoc on our land. Yet, as I said on the very first day of this war, and I say it again today with unwavering conviction: their missiles may bring destruction to our homes, but they will never crush our spirit. Ukraine will win! We honor the memory of those who lost their lives in Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro, and all our cities. Our heartfelt wishes for a swift recovery go out to the wounded," Vakarchuk said.
