Serbian musician and Moscow resident Petar Martich fined and deported from Russia for ‘propaganda of narcotics’ — Meduza [1]

A Moscow court has found Petar Martich, a Serbian musician and the founder of the Russian groups Pasosh and Prygay kiska, guilty of a misdemeanor charge for “propaganda of narcotics,” reports the press service of Moscow’s courts of general jurisdiction.

The court fined Martich 20,000 rubles (about $200) and ordered for him to be deported from Russia. The press release did not specify which of the musician’s works had violated Russian legislation.

Petar Martich was born in Belgrade in 1993 and has been living in Moscow with his family since 2002. According to the Telegram channel Shot, Martich holds only Serbian citizenship.
