Russia’s Defense Ministry says that Russian forces have taken control of the village of Vesele in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.

There is no independent confirmation of this information.

Presumably, the Russian Defense Ministry is referring to the village of Vesele that lies north of Soledar. Since December 2023, the Russian army has been conducting a large-scale offensive in this direction.
