Host nation Italy ensures effective and efficient logistics during Noble Jump 23 [1] [] Date: 2023-05 SARDINIA, Italy – NATO exercise Noble Jump 23 commenced in mid-April as participating Allied nations began movement of military personnel and equipment to the Mediterranean island of Sardinia. Under the coordination of the Italian Joint Operations Headquarters (COVI), over 600 members of the Italian Armed Forces are providing logistical support to the seven participating nations. Military units of the Italian Army, Navy, Air Force and Carabinieri organised convoys of materials and personnel arriving at the port of Cagliari and Decimomannu Airport. For the duration of the exercise the Italian Armed Forces will continue to ensure the necessary support systems remain in place until the very last soldier, vehicle and piece of material has left Sardinia and is on its way back to its home nation. Hosting Noble Jump 23 represents the iron-clad relationship between the Italian Armed Forces and other Allied militaries.
