NATO Tiger Meet 2023 [1] [] Date: 2023-10 Welcome to the 'Tiger Meet', a tactical air combat exercise that encourages NATO Allies to bring planes with fancy paint jobs. As it turns out, some planes just look better in tiger stripes! But for some NATO Allies, the fancy paint jobs are more than skin deep – they reflect decades of cooperation and integrated training. The NATO Tiger Association was formed by France, the United Kingdom and the United States in 1961. Since then, their 'Tiger Meet' exercises have combined tactical training with public relations, giving Allies the chance to see NATO’s flashiest jets piloted by their most skilled aviators. Today, the association boasts 15 Allies and partners as full members.
