About the Role The Clinical Education Strategy and Risk (CESAR) Project Officer will work closely with the Academic Director Clinical Education Strategy and Risk and other Faculty leaders to support the risk management of the Faculty’s clinical education portfolio. Under the broad direction of the Manager, Experiential Learning, and the Academic Director, the CESAR Project Officer will develop a range of frameworks, protocols and other resources to support the Faculty in effectively anticipating, monitoring and responding to strategic and operational risks in clinical education programs across the division. The CESAR Project Officer will also support the MDHS Clinical Education Strategy and Risk Committee, a standing committee responsible for the strategic development and risk management of clinical education activities in the MDHS. In a typical week at work, you may: Review and monitor the Faculty’s clinical course selection and admission requirements and clinical placement supervision and pre-placement compliance practices Maintain and regularly report on project timelines and performance against scheduled milestones Liaise with staff in MDHS schools who have clinical programs regarding clinical risk monitoring and management Provide executive support to the MDHS Clinical Education Strategy and Risk Committee About You You are someone who shares the MDHS values and our ideas for getting things done – through collaboration & teamwork, respect, compassion, integrity and accountability. You are self-starter, experienced in project management and able to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy and discretion as needed. You have a proven ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and respectful manner.
