About the Role As the Team Leader, Resident Acquisition & Retention, you will oversee the recruitment, conversion and retention of students to our Student Accommodation Unit residences. Using your strategic and creative approach to communication, you will think of new and exciting ways to share information about our accommodation to attract prospective residents. Thinking outside the box, you will bring a fresh perspective to how we engage with our customers – brainstorming ideas on new communication channels, refining messages and taking an overall proactive approach to engaging with prospective customers. In this role, you will oversee a collaborative, dynamic team of 2 – 4 direct reports. Together, you will support the end-to-end delivery of services to prospective residents throughout the student journey – including discovery, enquiries, application, offer, onboarding, and renewal processes. Using data and other resources to identify opportunities to maximise occupancy and resident satisfaction, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement in the delivery of services and information. In a typical week at work, you may: Working with internal and external partners, coordinate the creation and delivery of campaigns, services and other initiatives intended to attract or retain more residents Report on team performance against service levels, effectiveness and team achievements Apply continuous improvement to the delivery of services at all stages of the student-resident lifecycle, including events, enquiries, applications, offers, acceptances, onboarding and renewals About You Bursting with ideas, you enjoy thinking of new or creative approaches to how we do what we do. Utilising your strong interpersonal skills, you will be confident engaging with diverse stakeholder groups and your positive mindset will see you approach new situations with a proactive attitude.
