Mocktail Mondays: Dooky Chase’s Restaurant [1]

Welcome back to Mocktail Mondays, a series dedicated to taking a break from alcohol with fun, non-alcoholic drink recipes from some of New Orleans’ best restaurants. Catch the Mocktail Mondays segments every Monday on Fox 8 at 10:45 AM from February 19 to March 25.

This week, Stella Chase Reese, owner and self-proclaimed “queen of mocktails,” and Eve Marie Haydel, bar manager, from Dooky Chase’s Restaurant show us how to make the Sister Stell and the Treme Bouquet mocktails. The Sister Stell uses coconut puree and pineapple juice, inspired by Lincoln Beach. The Treme Bouquet is inspired by Haydel’s grandmother’s garden with flavors of strawberry and basil. You can try making these at home or visit Dooky Chase’s at 2301 Orleans Avenue in New Orleans to let the experts serve it for you.
