Got the car to the shop with no problems. They have to suck out the water from the passenger footwell before they can look at the heater core, where they think the problem is. They tested the system but could only locate a small pressure drop so they’re not sure what’s going on. There was no loss of coolant from the system.

Arranged for a rental from Enterprise. At first, he tried to get me into a sporty 4-door Jeep, but it rode higher than my ass could get to. I would up with a Grand Cherokee road-barge that rides a little lower.
