Trump's Felony Convictions will be Vacated in about a Year. [1]

Sorry to rain on anyone’s parade here, but the reality is, these convictions won’t hold up.

Not because there was anything wrong with the trial, not because the prosecution did anything wrong and not because of anything the Judge or jury did wrong.

The convictions will be vacated by our corrupt and venal US Supreme Court “Justices”. I figure it will take about a year for the appeal to first go through the NY 1st Dept Appellate Division, then through the NY Court of Appeals, and then after that, an appeal to a Federal Court and very quickly thereafter, another one of the Supreme Court’s moves where they reach down into the lower Federal Court and fast track the case right up to their bosom so they can overturn the convictions. Might even be less than a year, but no one should have any illusions that it will eventually happen.

We have already seen how hacks like Alito and Thomas don’t care about mangling the law and precedent to get to a result they want. The abortion decision, voting rights, Bush v. Gore. “Justices” flying upside down flags, accepting million dollar bribe-gifts.--who can seriously doubt that this crew won’t jump at the chance to do their Orange god a favor and erase those convictions?

Enjoy the fact that our system worked-temporarily- but have no illusions about what’s coming soon, when the Magas will then be dancing in the streets and crowing about how the system “worked”.

Maybe there will be a betting line on this scenario in Vegas soon—I know what outcome I would put my money on.
