Some of those who marched are hostage families and they are angry with a government obsessed with revenge instead of prioritizing hostage release through negotiation. To wit, www.business-standard.com/… al-Jazeera interviewed Maoz Inon, the son of an elderly Israeli couple who was murdered by Hamas terrorists on 10/7. He insists that only a diplomatic solution will lead to peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. He argues that despite the trauma felt by many Israelis, they are not sold on Netanyahu’s extremist coalition’s vision of perpetual war.
