[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-06-02 I posted a diary on the 1st of January, 2023, with the music of 1969: www.dailykos.com/… I am running late, so I plan to post way fewer songs, selecting only the better songs from that previous diary. Feel free to post whatever music you like in the comments. Such a classic tune. I will now copy and paste what I wrote about this in that earlier diary: That song is in a class, all by itself. Droning beat, high notes. Yes. Yes. He say, "one and one and one is three" Got to be good looking 'cause he's so hard to see Ha! Mellow and nice. Theme song for the movie, Midnight Cowboy. Once again, my words from my previous diary: This is why I am doing this series of music diaries. That melody, that song, is just as much of an old friend, as Twinkle, Twinkle, but I never did memorize that title, as the title to that melody. Now, if I want to chill, as they say, I can come back to this diary, and chill, playing this song, over and over. I lived in Houston for about ten years. During that time, I visited Galveston, a few times. Just drive south on Interstate 45, and soon, there you are, on Galveston Island. Book ‘em, Danno! Love your neighbor, as yourself. Such a goofy, silly song. But, did you know, that in the real world, the mother of Obama, was actually named, Stanley Ann Dunham. Look it up. A girl named Stanley. “La la la, la la la, la la la, la la la la.” Great lyrics! Solid, classic, Beatles. Solid, classic, Neil Diamond. Seems to me, anyone who wants to learn how to sing well, even while singing lots of lyrics, very fast, should use this song. Seems to me. Bongo drums, two guitars, tambourine. Oh, and singing. “A new day is dawning. People are changing.” Fun! Okay, here is the link to the older diary: www.dailykos.com/… Hugs!
