WHAT IS A PHONE BLOCKADE? [1]

A PHONE PROTEST We organize a few hundred protesters to call Citibank.

1. Call at a specific time with a prepared script. The goal is to convince the bank to meet our demands.

2. The bankers are in their offices counting the money and laughing at the protesters who will give up in a couple of days.

3. This discourages activists who feel powerless knowing the protest has no meaningful impact on the bank. It’s mind over matter. The bankers don’t mind, and we don’t matter.





A PHONE BLOCKADE

1. Call Citibank en masse. Call them 20 times a day, give them a piece of your mind… or leave the phone on hold and go about your business. If they hang up, call again. Block the phones with junk calls and back up incoming calls. Each call costs the bank time and money and disrupts their business.

2. Call in solidarity. Trash their phones, bury them in millions of junk calls, and cost them a bloody fortune. There are 6.84 billion smartphones and more mobile phones than people. We’re not going to run short of pissed-off protesters around the globe who will join in making junk calls and doxing their business.

3. Demonstrate in front of each branch. Sit-in, Stand-in, paint it red.

4. Mass mobilization: the blockade will make the news, go viral, and spread around the globe. Use social media to alert your contacts daily to call and tell them to call and tell their contacts to keep calling.

5. Make an example. Disrupt business, cost them a bloody fortune until stockholders desert the sinking ship in a desperate effort to save themselves; and they crash the bank's stock.

6. Citibank will stop financing big oil… or go under.

7. Citibank will stop supporting Trump’s coup… or go under.

8. President Biden will put Trump and his MAGA traitors on trial in military courts as enemy combatants for sedition, violent insurrection, terrorism, and treason… and send them to prison in Guantanamo along with al-Qaida terrorists.
