[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-06-06 Former Alito neighbor Emily Baden appeared on CNN’s Erin Burnett's OutFront on Wednesday night to say that the Alito's are either mistaken or lying about the upsidedown flag that flewcat their house in January of 2021. The Alito's claimed the upside down flag was in response to an altercation that took place between Baden and her boyfriend and the Altos, in which she said she called Mrs Alito th “c” word. The problem is that the altercation took place weeks after the upside down flag was flown. Alito has said that his wife, Martha-Ann Alito, hoisted the flag in response to an exchange with Baden in which she at one point used the term “c*nt.” But Baden said that exchange didn’t happen until mid-February. The story came to light when the New York Times published a photo in May of the inverted American flag flying weeks earlier, on January 17, 2021. Baden said: “Even if it were a valid excuse that they were having a dispute with a neighbor and that made them put the flag up, that timeline just disproves it. It just doesn’t make sense.” Baden also denies that the signs were aimed at the Alitos and claims it was Mrs Alito who instigated the the altercation. It sounds very much like Mrs Alito is a very thin skinned angry MAGA Trump supporter who happens to be married to a MAGA Trump supporting Supreme Court justice who may have been “mistaken” about the timelinevof events. Maybe he'll clear it up in the near future.
