There Are Better Punishments Than Jail for TFG [1]

As much as I relish the thought of TFG stewing in jail, if the big goal is to save democracy, It would behoove Judge Juan Merchan to go outside the box and perhaps elect a wiser punishment. I suggest the following as a rough outline of such a sentence:

1. TFG is sentenced to four years in jail at Rikers Island

2. The sentence is suspended

3. TFG is released on probation provided that:

He does not disparage the justice system or those who work for it

He does not incite his allies or others to acts of violence

If TFG spends all summer and fall having his ass hauled before his probation officer for violations of the above, so be it. Weekly dress downs from his probation officer (poor guy) will be poetic justice and TFG will be made to endure the treatment throughout his probation.
