Sarah Henry Campaign Continues to Build Momentum [1]

One year to the day after announcing her run for Florida’s House District 38, Sarah Henry shares the momentum of her campaign across Seminole County. The Sarah Henry campaign is proud to announce the endorsement of Leader Designate-Elect Christine Hunschofsky, who shared the following statement:

“Today, more than ever, Florida needs leaders who will fight to protect the health and safety of all Floridians. Sarah Henry is a passionate advocate with a proven track record of working to uplift her community. I know that Sarah will listen to the needs of people in her district and across the state and bring that work ethic, empathy, and advocacy to Tallahassee. I am proud to endorse her campaign and look forward to working alongside her in the future.”

Leaders across Florida recognize the importance of this race and the need to flip House District 38 as a key step toward breaking the Republican supermajority. As part of this united front, Sarah Henry is honored to also announce the endorsement of Representative Yvonne Hayes Hinson, Florida House District 21, and Representative Kelly Skidmore, Florida House District 92.

“This legislative session was another demonstration of Florida’s Republican Party favoring culture wars over actually working to make people’s lives better,” shared Sarah Henry. “Our community deserves an advocate who understands the daily realities of a state that is increasingly unaffordable and who is committed to doing the hard work of effective legislating.”

Equality Florida and the Florida High School Democrats join these members of the Florida House Democratic Caucus in endorsing Sarah Henry as the right choice for House District 38. Henry continued, “It’s an incredible honor to have the support of these organizations that drive so much of the political dialogue here in central Florida. As the Governor and my opponent continue to attack LGBTQ+ Floridians, I will continue advocating for a state that is welcoming and affirming to all.”
