Then, on the rest of the menu, the only Black lead doctor in the NFL has filed suit alleging racial discrimination; an appeals court ruled eight books dealing with racism and transgender issues must be returned to library shelves in a rural Texas county that had removed them; and, Eugene Meyer, the longtime president of the Federalist Society, announced his retirement.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where the United States imposed sanctions on dozens of Georgian officials in response to the enactment of a law that will curb media freedom; and, a French citizen was arrested in Moscow on charges of collecting military data.
