I'm a subscriber - why am I seeing ads? [1]

I’m a long time subscriber (15+ years). I’m logged in and have “Hide Ads” selected, but I still have ads popping up in the stories I’m reading.

You can see that I’m logged in because the button at the menu is “Sign Out”, which only shows when you’re signed in. And you can tell that I selected “Hide Ads” because the menu is offering me the “Show Ads” option, which only appears when you have ads hidden.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

ps — I did report this to the Help Desk, but curious to see if it’s my own problem or if it’s happening to others.
